  7. Intellicon-MC8 is an eight-port intelligent asynchronous communications adapter
  8. that allows multiple serial devices to be connected to an IBM Micro Channel or
  9. compatible. Up to two ports may be used for synchronous transmission. The
  10. Intellicon MC8 has an onboard microprocessor and dual-ported RAM to offload the
  11. task of managing communications from the main CPU. Custom software can be
  12. downloaded to the onboard RAM to support specialized protocols. Multiple boards
  13. may reside in a PC to accommodate large multi-user systems. Interfaces
  14. available are RS-232 with male or female DB25 connectors. Transparent print
  15. through for terminals is supported. The Intellicon-MC8 comes with board,
  16. software drivers (for SCO XENIX 386 and VP/ix, QNX, VENIX, SCO UNIX System
  17. V/386, Interactive Systems Corp. UNIX 386/ix and VP/ix, PC-MOS/386, and DOS),
